Important news for customers!!! Orders that are over the value of the compensation level automatically provided by Royal Mail and other courier companies will now be sent Recorded Delivery. I'm afraid this means an increase in the postage costs for certain items but unfortunately I've had a spate of lost parcels so have no alternative. Recorded delivery does not enhance the compensation but provides a signature on delivery. It is the customer's responsiblity to ask and pay for additional insurance should the value of their order be over the level of insurance included. Currently this is either £36.00 or £41.00 plus postage cost for Royal Mail and £25.00 including postage for courier company. If a parcel is then lost or damaged and enhanced compensation has not been paid for by the customer then the maximum I can refund is these amounts regardless of the value of the order so do please bear this in mind before ordering. International shipping will differ. If in doubt, I am more than happy to answer your questions and get a price to you. Just ask, I don't bite! And at the end of the day, it means everybody's happy.
